Meet-and-greet vs. curbside pickup vs. VIP escort — what each means and when it's worth it.
Standard meet-and-greet
Your chauffeur waits inside the terminal past customs with a printed name sign, helps with luggage, and walks you to the vehicle. Included on international arrivals at Pearson.
Curbside pickup
Your chauffeur pulls up to the airport's designated Limo/Sedan lane on the Arrivals level; you exit the terminal and step in. Faster in mild weather; not fun in a January storm.
VIP escort
Assistance from the jet bridge through immigration to your vehicle. Not offered at all airports and requires advance booking. Common at YYZ for VIP arrivals and dignitaries.
Which do you actually need?
First trip to the airport? Meet-and-greet. Frequent flyer with only carry-on? Curbside. Elderly or unaccompanied minor? Meet-and-greet.
