The Complete Toronto Pearson Airport Pickup Guide (2026)
By Airport Transfer Toronto Editorial · Published January 14, 2026 · Updated June 2, 2026 · 8 min read

How airport pickup actually works at Pearson — terminals, meet-and-greet, curbside rules, and what to text your chauffeur.
Which terminal am I in?
Terminal 1 handles Air Canada and Star Alliance long-haul, and most international carriers not in oneworld/SkyTeam. Terminal 3 handles WestJet, oneworld carriers like American and British Airways, SkyTeam carriers like Delta and KLM, plus select others. When in doubt, your boarding pass shows terminal in the top-right corner, and the Pearson website has a live carrier–terminal map.
Where does meet-and-greet actually happen?
For international arrivals, your chauffeur waits inside the terminal past Canada Border Services and past the last baggage carousel. They stand with a printed name sign near the arrivals doors. You do not need to call — walk out and look for your name.
What about curbside pickup?
Pearson has a designated Limousine and Sedan pickup zone on the Arrivals level of each terminal — different from Passenger Pickup for private cars. If you prefer curbside, tell us at booking; your chauffeur will text a lane number when you land. Note: the Limo lane has a 3-minute stop rule, so exit the terminal before texting them to pull up.
What if I can't find my chauffeur?
First: check your phone. We text a photo of your chauffeur, their name, and the vehicle plate 30 minutes before landing. Second: call our 24/7 dispatch at +1 416-800-1009. Someone will pick up in Toronto within 30 seconds.
How much time should I leave for departures?
Three hours before an international flight, two before a domestic. Add 20 minutes if you're checking bags at a discount carrier, subtract 15 if you're carry-on only with pre-cleared status. We suggest your pickup time based on your terminal, flight time, day of week, and current traffic.
